Safety Standards

Real Experience. Real Safety.

I started Aqua Whisperer because I believe swimming lessons shouldn’t feel like a factory. After 25 years of teaching at places like Sydney Olympic Park and Lane Cove, I know that kids learn best when they feel safe and relaxed—and there is no place more relaxing than your own home pool.

Why 25 Years Matters

I’ve spent over two decades in the water. That experience means I don’t just “watch” your child; I understand how they move. Whether we are in Wahroonga, Turramurra, or the Hills District, I bring that professional expertise directly to your backyard.

My Qualifications

I keep my certifications current because your family’s safety is the only thing that matters.

  • AUSTSWIM Licensed: I teach to the highest national standards.
  • CPR & First Aid: I am fully trained and always up to date.
  • WWCC: I have a verified Working with Children Check for your peace of mind.

Safety in Your Own Pool

Teaching in a backyard pool is different from a public center. We focus on practical skills that actually matter at home—like how to get back to the edge if they fall in, and how to respect the water when a “big person” isn’t right there.

Mobile Lessons Near You

I travel across the Upper North Shore, Hornsby Shire, and the Hills District to help families become confident in the water. You get a Master competitive swimmer as your coach, and your kids get to learn in an environment they already love.

A crystal-clear backyard swimming pool in a modern Sydney home, its turquoise water gently rippling with soft reflections of the sky. A neatly folded navy-blue kickboard and bright yellow pull buoy rest on the pale stone pool edge beside a tidy laminated lesson plan clipboard. Lush subtropical plants frame the fence line in the distance, softly blurred. Late afternoon natural light creates a calm, even glow with subtle highlights on the water’s surface. Photographed at eye level in clean, photographic realism, the composition follows the rule of thirds, emphasizing the pool lane space as if ready for a private lesson, conveying professionalism, safety, and quiet focus without any people present.
